DeLonghi ESAM5500M Espresso Machine & Coffee Maker

Espresso drinkers enjoy their coffee brewed to more exacting standards than most. The beans must be ground just right and the brew made at the correct pressure and temperature to provide the crema, or foam atop the brewed coffee.
The DeLonghi ESAM5500M can do this for you. However it is not as simple as all that. First, there is a DVD of instructions that accompanies the machine when you buy it. This makes the process of understanding the controls easier, and should definitely be studied before using the “DeLonghi ESAM5500M”.

I have found Delonghi products to be well made and long lasting. My previous very well used espresso cappuccino maker from them worked reliably for over ten years. There are some reviewers who differ with this opinion, but I would trust this brand name again.
If you want a machine that will serve a great cup, and do so automatically with the push of a button once some presets have been made, this DeLonghi ESAM5500M will do it for you.
It is a bit more expensive than some other brands that may offer comparable quality though, so it is recommended that you compare before choosing.

    Hey There Chrissi,
This might be off topic, however, 8 year old DeLonghi Deep Fryer. I cleaned it with a moist cloth and ran it for less than a minute to dry. It heated and steamed nicely. I filled the fryer with oil and restarted it. The red light is on and the basket rotates, but now it wont heat. Possibly the thermal cutout has activated because I ran it for that brief moment unfilled ? The manual says that I need to get it serviced to reset. Can anyone tell me how I might be able to do it myself ?
    Catch you again soon!

Hi Jesse – unfortunatly I am not so much into this “technique- things”. ;-) like most of the girls. My opiniom: 8 Years old – it might be better to by an new Deep Fryer. The service for an ald Fry could be more expensive than a new one…. Regards, Chrissi
